Cultural Awareness Training in partnership with Medicare Local

We have been working with the Medicare Local around the rollout of the Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training that we are partnering in delivering. Take up has been very positive with all ten events going ahead and demand for more.

The training is being provided by David Widders an Aboriginal trainer who comes from the Anaiwan nation around Armidale NSW. He is also connected to the Kamilaroi (Moree) and Birpai (Port Macquarie) regions. Dave has worked in community, government and non-government agencies over the last 18 years and brings a wide range of experiences from work and life to his courses. He is passionate about what he teaches and passes this passion on to others through his training.
